Ingredients:

1. 6 shallots
2. 4 cloves garlic
3. 1 thumb-size piece Belacan, toasted
4. 2 tsp dried small shrimp, fried/roasted
5. 5 red chillis
6. 1 cayenne peppers
7. 1 tomatoes, cut lengthwise
8. 1 lime, use the juice
9. 1 1/2 tsp sugar (to taste)
10. 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
11. Oil for frying

Preparation steps:

1. Saute shallot, garlic, tomato, red chili and cayenne pepper until all wilted.

   

2. Remove and add Belacan and sugar, then mash/grind until smooth half.

   

3. Add fried shrimp and salt, adjust the taste.

   

4. Stir until well blended, and add the lemon juice.

   

5. Ready to be served.
