Ingredients:


  1. 2 1/2 lb ground meat
  2. 2 cup chopped onions
  3. 2 tsp garlic powder
  4. 1 tsp oregano
  5. 1/4 tsp red pepper
  6. 1 tbsp sugar
  7. 1 green pepper
  8. 3 tbsp chili powder
  9. 1 tsp basil
  10. 2 tsp ground cumin
  11. 2 tsp salt
  12. 3-15 oz cans tomato sauce
  13. 2-15 oz cans dice tomato
  14. 1-10 oz can of Rotel Tomatos


Preparation steps:


  1. Brown ground beef and drain excess fat

  2. Add onions, peppers, garlic powder, chili powder, oregano, basil, red peppers and cumin

  3. Mix well

  4. Cook until onion & pepper are soft about 5 minutes

  5. Stir in sugar, salt, tomatoes and tomato sauce

  6. Mix well

  7. Bring to a boil

  8. Turn down heat and simmer for 1 to 2 hours stirring occassionally
